Hi there, thanks for visiting my website.

My names Kim and I have been into photography for over 15 years as a hobby, and in the last 5 years have made it into a business. I studied film and photography at University when I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2006.

I shot several weddings before joining ships to become a senior photographer and videographer on the cruise ship Azura, for 2 years. During my time on ships, I shot and filmed a lot of weddings (I still remeber every single unique couple and still keep in contact with a lot of them) and photographed a lot of amazing sights in a lot of amazing countries.

Now after 2 years at sea, I have come back home to trade in my sea legs for some land legs and re launch Kim Wheeler Photography back in New Zealand. Since being back I have managed a photography studio full time, shot some more weddings and wedding videos and had loads of fun doing it.  I have a real passion for capturing a wedding day in a creative and unobtrusive manner, that is special and unique to the wedding couple.
